Day 17 West - 01/18/22 - At Sea - 2

This was definitely a lazy day at sea.  Rúben Vilagran was the coffee chat guest.  He's from Spain and was a delightful guest.

A crew boat drill took up most of the mud morning and I took in the EXC presentation The Deep Blue which was about turtles, messages in a bottle, and seeking Spanish Treasure.

At lunch we had a delightful chat with a couple from Florida with special emphasis on their 1977 GMC motor home that they restored.  The rest of the afternoon was spent sitting in the overflow area for the Lincoln Center Stage and a presentation on the works of The Schuman's.  It was rated annoying when the couple in front of us talked through the entire concert.  Other guests noted it as well. I love watching the sea pass by just below this window on deck 2.

Dinner was in the Pinnacle and we both had salmon.  It was delicious and the staff now call us by name.  No key card needed. Dori, our waiter, is terrific.

Entertainment tonight was 3 faceted.  Humanity by the Step One Dance Company was first and one male dancer was missing.  But they pulled it off including the difficult painting routine.Call my Bluff, a game show, followed and it was very funny.  We wrapped up our evening with Kristin Key returning for her second show.  She really got the audience involved and even suggested the entire ship moon Cartagena as we sail by. Just kidding she said with a twinkle in her eye.

Tomorrow we make a service call at Cartagena and we received a letter tonight that we all need to get Covid tested for entry into the Panama Canal on Thursday.
